Rebecca Carter is our School Counselor. She was born and raised in Lake County and graduated from Kelseyville High School in 2003. After high school, Rebecca attended California State University, Chico and graduated with a Bacherlors Degree in Liberal Studies as well as a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. After graduating from Chico State, she moved to Sonoma County where she taught second grade for two years at a small elementary school in Sebastopol, California. After two years of teaching, she decided to return back to school, attended the University of San Francisco in 2009, and also began working as a Primary Intervention Aide for the Lake County Office of Education's Safe Schools Healthy Students program. As a Primary Intervention Aide, she worked with K-3 students doing small group counseling based on social skills and development. In 2011, she graduated from the University of San Francisco with a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in School Counseling as well as a Pupil Personnel Services Credential.
